Hello and welcome to scary castle of Dracula. First little something about Dracula himself!

The original Dracula is related to Vlad Dracul (1431 - 1476), better known through history as Vlad Tepes (read Tsepesh). Vlad has ruled Wallachia (Tara Româneasca~, now southern Romania) between 1456 and 1476.

Bran Castle, situated near Bran and in the immediate vicinity of Brasov, Romania, is a national monument and landmark. Known as Dracula's Castle, Bran Castle was originally built as a stronghold by the Teutonic Knights in 1212. Dracula's Castle perched atop a 60 metre peak in the centre of Bran village. The castle was build on a cliff between Mangura and the Hill of the Fortress, its position conferring an outstanding view towards both the hills of Moeciu and the ones from the Land of Barsa.
