Bath Spa Univeristy handout of art student Lauren Porter, with her life size Ferrari made of wool. Lauren Porter spent nine months creating the supercar for her fine art degree at Bath Spa University.
The car, a cross between a Testarossa and a 355, is made of more than 250 squares over a steel frame and the horse badge is hand-embroidered. She used 12 MILES of wool!!!

Porter enlisted the help of 20 family members and friends to achieve the feat, although she welded the car's steel frame together herself.Lauren's achievement, which took many months to complete was made possible by the School's excellent technical support and Lauren's own imagination - which is precisely what the School tries to nurture.

This is what I call modern art, much better than cows in formaldehyde, I suggest
giving this young lady an award for her imagination
